Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief

 

Hi!!! I'm gonna review the book Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief. Here is a pic of the book. 📖

My fav. character in this book is Annebeth cuz she is the daughter of Athena, my fav goddess. My fav. part is when the bathroom incident happened. Here is how it was like. The pipes started making funny noises, and water spurts straight out of the toilet & over Percy's head. The water shoots Clarisse & her sidekicks with the force of a firehose, knocking them down and pushing them out of the bathroom. But Percy had stayed dry. 

This book is sort of connected to Greek mythology. To give you an idea...Percy is the son of the sea god, Poseidon. Now, this book is about a 12-year-old boy named Percy Jackson who went on a fieldtrip to a museum to learn about Greek gods and goddesses. When learning about Zeus, his least fav. teacher Mrs. Dodds hauled him over and suddenly turned into a demon (called a Furie).  After he barely escaped her, he gets sent to Camp Half-blood for demigods (half-human half-god). Only then Percy starts believing that gods r real.                                                                                                                         The main problem in this book is that someone had a weapon of mass destruction- Zeus's master lightning bolt. And the main suspect is Percy. He has to return the bolt by the summer solstice. Which gives him about 10 days. But there are more Furies waiting to strike & an eternal war is about to begin. Will Percy make his father glad? Will he return the master bolt on time? Read to find out!
